Your path to a
5G Prime tryout.

A guide to choosing a program, checking your player’s division and understanding what happens after registration.

Choose Your Program

Published September 7, 2026 · 5G Prime

Start with the right program

Baseball offers a 7U–18U player pathway. Softball offers 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U divisions. National baseball focuses on higher-level tournament and travel opportunities. Registration expresses your interest; it does not guarantee a roster spot.

Check the age cutoff

Baseball and National use the player’s age on May 1 of the selected season year. Softball uses September 1. Use the age calculator and select the intended season. The registration form carries the recommended and requested division with your submission.

Choose a tryout preference

Private tryout and next-available tryout registration are open. Choose your preference in the form. Check the tryout page for announced dates; do not make travel plans until a time and location are confirmed by the team.

Tell coaches about your player

Have the player’s birthday, current grade, batting and throwing side, positions played and a parent or guardian’s contact information ready. Use the notes field for prior teams, goals or relevant playing experience. Coaches evaluate skills alongside attitude, effort and coachability.

What happens after submitting?

A confirmation page tells you whether your registration was received. A member of 5G Prime will follow up about the evaluation and next steps using the contact information you provided. Ask about the specific team’s fees, practice location, schedule and travel expectations before committing.

Questions or a correction?

Contact 5G Prime with the player’s name, program and requested division. Families already connected to a team can use the Team Portal.
